what would a graph look like if..

y= (3/4)x + 2

and the domain is...

x = {-8,-4,0,4,8}

would it be discrete or continous?

Kelly you should be able to see that the first equation is a line. You should be able to determine the slope and intercept as well.
Since the domain is a collection of points, this would not be a continuous graph. For practice you should substitute the values for x into the equation and determine the ordered pairs that make up the graph. For x = -8, we would have y=3/4)(-8) + 2 = -4, and the ordered pair is (-8,-4). Do this for the other points to determine the graph.
