What was the significance of the Treaty of Tordesillas?

It provided Portugal with the opportunity to establish colonies in the Americas.

It established the line of demarcation that granted Spain the right to lands in the Americas and Portugal the right to settle in Africa.

It ended the Seven Years’ War between Spain and Portugal and allowed for the Portuguese settlement of Brazil.

It promoted the idea that the Catholic religion would be allowed to establish missions in the Americas.

I was pretty sure it was B but apparently it's wrong. What else could it be?

Darn, it wasn't right. I don't understand, the others don't seem correct either.
For future primavera students, two things... may God have mercy on your soul and the correct answer is "It provided Portugal with the opportunity to establish colonies in the Americas."
Make sure you check your grammar before turning it in ;)
