What social-media sites do you use to promote your on-line small business?
I know there are many to choose from, but I am wondering which ones you have used and which ones you have found to be the most useful.

I use facebook and twitter.
I believe it depends on the type of audience you wish to attract. Facebook and twitter are definitely great choices as they are two of the most popular social media sites. However their popularity is also their downfall as many people don't want to use them. If you wish to truly stretch out your demographic I suggest doing other things in areas that are also considered social media. Post videos and adverts on websites such as Youtube, and Tumblr. You can even consider potential partnership with money or point making sites in the future to increase your visitor traffic as well.
