What should I do to find a certain element. I only have moles and grams. Should I divide moles over grams?

You would do better to post the problem instead of bits and pieces. However,
mols = grams/molar mass. Then molar mass = grams/mols. Then look on the periodic chart to find the element.
consider carbon, with atomic mas 12
If you have
48 grams, then you have
48g * 1mole/12g = 4 moles

So, if you have moles and grams, the atomic mass is grams/moles
