My parents taught me that the world can be really unfair and tough sometimes, but also that kindness goes a long way. They always said to stand up for what’s right, even if it’s hard. When I learned all this, I felt a mix of sadness for all the struggles but also hope because I knew I could do something good, even if it’s just a little thing.
