what is the y-intercept and x-intercept for the equation -4x+y=14?

Thank you. I stayed up late, but I still can't figure this out. Please help! Thank you, again.

If you rearrange the equation to the standard form:
y=mx+b
then b is the y-intercept.
The x-intercept can be found by setting y=0, or
mx+b=0
x=-b/m

To illustrate the point,
-4x+y=14 can be rewritten as
y=4x+14
So the y-intercept is 14, and the x-intercept is -14/4=-7/2
