what is the vertical and horizontal difference between the two eqautions on a graph? Here are the eqautions... y=2x+3

y=2x-4

please help me on this. These two eqautions when graphed are parralell to each other. But im not sure how to calculate the difference in vertical and horizontal. please help.

This looks like a previous problem retyped. In the previous version, there was a -y in one equation and the lines wer not parallel.

I suggest you make a graph of the two (straight)lines to see how far apart they are and where they cross the x and y axes.

The slopes are equal but the y-intercepts differ by 7
