Asked by g2thez

what is the slope of the points {1,-2}
and {3,-4}

Slope is defined as the change in y divided by the change in x

slope = (y2 -y1)/(x2 - x1)

so then simply substitute the pts corrsesponfing to x1,x2,y1,y1

= (-4--2)/(3-1)
= -1

3x-5y=1
2x+5y=9
