I don't get 6.25.
molar mass C2H8O4 = about 96 but you can look it up more accurately if you wish.
Then mass H is 8 (again you can be more accurate if you wish)
Then (8/96)*100 = about 8.3%.
Please note. I looked up the formula for aspirin and I didn't get what you posted. The formula for aspirin is C9H8O4 with a molar mass of about 180.16
Then (8/180)*100 = 4.5% but that's an estimate.
