What is the number between 149000 and 150000 which has a tens digit that is 7 more than its ones digit. The sum of the tens ans ones digit is 9 and the hundreds digit is zero

Since the hundreds digit is zero, we just have to concentrate on the last two digits.
let the unit digit be x
then the tens digit = x+7

x+x+7 = 9
2x=2
x=1
the unit digit is 1, the tens digit is 8 and our number is
