What is the net ionic equation of Na3PO4 + NH4Cl=?

3 answers

no reaction product
There are rules governing when a double displacement reaction actually takes place. Mixing these two solutions results only in a solution containing a mixture of Na+, NH4+ PO4 3- and Cl- ions. There is no reaction product. IE. the net ionic equation. This is not possible because no precipitate gas or water is formed - therefore no reaction has occured
