what is the molarity of a solution made by mixing 178.5 of 1.5 M NaCl with 283.4m of 4.3M NaCl

Mnacl*L nacle =(1.5)(.001718)=.0026775
moles nacl=(4.3)*(.002834)=.0121862
total moles = .0026775+.0121862=.0148moles
final volume = .001785+.002834=.004819 L
m/l= 3.21779

I don't think this is rite but please check it I moved two places to the left because the problem is ml and I thought it had to be in Liters
plz help

You're right. The volume is in mL and it must be in L; therefore, move the decimal three places to the left.
178.5 mL = 0.1785 L
283.4 mL = 0.2834 L.
Amber, I know it is against your principles to use the cap key; however, nacl, nacle, etc doesn't mean a thing to me. I can guess but sometimes that isn't good enough. Note that I respond with caps at the beginning of a sentence, periods at the end, and non-text type writing between so it will be as plain as possible to readers. You should do the same if you want responsible answers to your questions.
so would the answer be M/L= 3.22
or .0322 ?
