Hello Ms. Sue,

I know that overall the maximum sentence is life without the possibility of parole (LWOP), which it is my understanding is usually (if not always?) sentenced in adult criminal court.

So, then I guess my question is can a juvenile court give LWOP to a juvenile? If not, then what is the maximum?
It seems as though juveniles who commit serious crimes are transferred to adult court.

That makes sense. Thank you
