what is the longest multiplication combination for 120

5 answers

I imagine you want to express 120 as the product of as many factors as possible? If so, they'll be the prime factors of it. 120 equals 5x4x3x2, but that can be broken down further as 5x(2x2)x3x2. You can't break it down any more because all the factors are now prime numbers, so that's presumably the longest multiplication combination.
