is the answer is 3.99
Does the dot"." represents multiplication ? if so then

-7-(5x7) = -7 - (-35)
'''''''' = -7 + 35
'''''''' = 28
Subtract -7-(-5.7)

-7-(-5.7)
= -7 + 5.7
= -1.3

We should clearly be aware of the fact that there are different ways to represent decimal numbers.
In many English speaking countries like US, Canada, UK, and Australia, the "dot" is used as a decimal place indicator, while a large portion of the rest of the world uses the comma to show where the decimal place is.
