What is the equation of the line passing through (4, 2) and perpendicular to the line passing through the points (9,7) and (11,4)?

Here's what I did:

(7-4)/(9-11) = -3/2

y-2= (-2/3)(x-4)
y-2=(-2x/3) + (8/3)
y = (-2x/3) + 14/3

but the answer key says that it's y=(2x/3) - (2/3)
did I make a mistake?

since the line is perpendicular, their slopes are negative reciprocals of each other, that means, they must be OPPOSITE in sign
so first slope = -3/2
2nd slope = +2/3

y-2 = (2/3)(x-4)
3y-6 = 2x-8
3y = 2x - 2
y = (2/3)x - 2/3
oh yeah thanks I forgot that the reciprocal had to be negative
