What is the effect of inserting a ferromagnet inside a winding coil where current flows?

The effect is to Fill in the Blank 01 (increase/decrease) the magnetic field inside the coil compared to the field that would have been produced in free space. This also Fill in the Blank 02 (increases/decreases) the induced current.
