I can't help you much, but I looked up an example to help you.
Example:
"two points (–2, 1) and (1, 5)
easy to find lengths of horizontal & vertical sides of right triangle: just subtract x-values & y-values:
5 - 1 = 4
1-(-2) = 3
Use a^2 + b^2 = c^2
c^2 = (5 - 1)^2 + (1 -(-2))^2
c = √(5 - 1)^2 + (1 -(-2))^2 ----(The square root sign has a line all the top of all of it.)
= √(4)^2 + (3)^2 ----(Still has line along the top of all of it.
= √16 + 9 = √25 = 5"
Here is the actual formula to do all of this:
Distance Formula: Given the two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2)(Each number is below the variable a little bit onto the right side.), the distance between these points is given by the formula:
d = √(x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2"

I hope this helps! :)
What is the distance between points A and E?
Point A is in quadrant 1 and is on 3,4
Point B is in quadrnt 2 and is on 0,-1
A. 2.8
B. 3.2
C. 4.9
D. 5.7
Is the answer A?

By doing the Distance equation, I got 5.8309518948453004708741528775456, which is closer to 5.7 of all of the answers.
I hope this helps!
I hope this helps!
P.S. I am not exactly sure I did things right. I don't know the coordinates for Point E, so I just went off of information given. Sorry if I am wrong!
Oops I didn't mean to put point b I meant point E 😳
Thank you for helping me😊
Can you help me on my next question posted. That's the last one?
Yeah, I working on it right now.
I asked my teacher for all my school work for the month so that I have November 9th my birthday I'm turning 14 off. So I really need the help.
Oh okay. So you are trying to work ahead until then, I can see that.
