"like" terms are two or more terms where the variable part of the term, including the exponents are the same, with only the coefficients being different
e.g. 4(x^3)(y^2) and -2(x^3)(y^2) are like terms but
4(x^3)(y^2) and -2(x^2)(y^2) are not
What is the definition (in understandable language) of like terms. Can I see an examle too?
Thanks ur a life saver!
