No idea what your 'figure' is. Do you have a sector of a circle?
One of the answers seems to suggest that
r = 6
area of whole circle = πr^2 = 36π
but we want only 165/360 or 11/24 of it
area you want = (11/24)(36π) = 16.5π
= appr 51.8 ---> notice I did not do any real calculations till the very end
What is the area of the figure to the nearest tenth. 165 degrees and 6 inch radius
A)8.6in^2
B)51.8in^2
C)103.6in^2
D)16.5in^2***
I think the answer is D am I correct?
