2/100 = 1/50 as a fraction
0.02 as a decimal
2% as a percent
Now watch out for the next problem (I am guessing what the next problem in the book might be), the probability of drawing BOTH in two draws is not just (2/100)*(2/100)
that is because once you draw out one of them, there is now one (not 2) left out of 99, not 100
(2/100)(1/99)
what is the answer to this
in scrabble, 2 of the 100 tiles are blank find the probability of drawing a blank tile from an entire set of scrabble tiles
instructions
find each probability. write your answer as a fraction, as a decimal, and as a precent thank you ashley
