What is Sojourner Truth saying about the connection between civil rights for African Americans and the rights of women?

Why was she able to stand before a large audience and expound this way without notes or preparation?

Im still confused. i dont know what to look for
1. Did she believe those two types of rights were different? or basically the same? Explain.

2. Who was Sojourner Truth? Did she live what she spoke about? Or was she speaking about an issue she had witnessed but was not part of? Explain.
Okay i Kinda get it. Ill ask more questions if i get them.
I'll help out you FCA peeps, here was my discussion (without the personal bit)

" What I think Sojourner Truth was saying about the connection between civil rights for African Americans and the rights of women is how it unfair that we are treated so poorly (we meaning woman) and how it makes no sense. I am not African American but I am a female and have been talked down to so many times. In her speech, she states "That man over there says that women need to be helped into carriages,
and lifted over ditches, and to have the best place everywhere. Nobody
ever helps me into carriages, or over mud-puddles, or gives me any best
place! And ain’t I a woman? Look at me!" In this statement, she is saying how even though she is a woman she is still being treated differently. That's how she connects them. Not only is she getting "hated" on by being "black" but being a woman adds another layer. It's crazy how people can act."

My writing is not that great so don't just copy and paste this, use it as a guide, or you'll get us both in trouble. GOOD LUCK LOVELYSSSSS
