Nylon threads are threads made of a synthetic polyamide polymer called Nylon, which was invented by researchers at "DuPont" company in the 1930's. Its oringinal use was for fishing line, tents, parachutes toothbrush and and women's stockings, where it was a popular substitute for silk. It is used in many other products as well, because of its durability.
