What is ksp for lithium carbonate?

I got an answer of 2.40 x 10^-4 but i need to check that answer with somebody who can work this out

You didn't post anything to work. In addition, I thought Li2CO3 was pretty cotton pickin' soluble. AND I can't find it listed in any of my Ksp tables. The Merck Index says about 1 gram will dissole in 78 mL cold water.
the question says: the solubility of Li2CO3 is 7.4 x 10^-2 mol/L, find ksp. I also couldn't find it on any of my talbes but it seems like its a doable question
OK. From the data you provided (it wasn't in the first post),
Shouldn't Ksp just be (7.4 x 10^-2)^2 = ??
I don't get 2.4 x 10^-4 but more like 5.548 x 10^-3 which rounds to 0.0055 to two s.f.
I thought it couldn't just be squared because we have an uneven ratio (2:3)
No, it is Li2CO3 and not Li2(CO3)2 and it isn't 0.0055 either. I goofed. Let me do it right. (The ratio is 2:1)
Li2CO3 ==> 2Li^+ + CO3^=
Ksp = (Li^+)^2*(CO3^=) =
(2*7.4 x 10^-2)^2(7.4 x 10^-2) =
4(7.4 x 10^-2)^3 = 0.00162 which I would round to 0.0016 to two s.f.
Check my work.
