The responsibility and right of all American citizens is voting in elections.
Voting is a fundamental democratic right that allows citizens to participate in the political process and have a say in their government. While registering with the Selective Service, taking an oath of allegiance, and helping to naturalize immigrants are important aspects of civic duty, they are not rights afforded to all citizens in the same way that voting is.
