Usually, running away has more negative outcomes. It will be completely different than what you imagine in your head.

You should talk to a counselor or a trusted adult/friend if you are having thoughts as to run away.

No one in my family knows what he has done to me, and I just thought about leaving today, so nobody knows about that.

Also, if you are going to run away, you should at least wait a little longer and plan it, or tell someone in your family what he did so they'll know you are coming. And... do you even know their address, or directions to their house?

he's only done it 2 times, left me pretty good bruising that took a week or so for each to disappear. Yeah, OFC I'm going to take time to plan it. I've still got to REPORT the abuse. I live in Wisconsin, and one of my 3 choices is 10-15 minutes away from my house, and the other 2 choices are in Arizona.

Was there anything you did that caused him to act out in such a way, or did he just do it for no reason? (I am not implying that it is your fault, usually, parents have a reason for punishing their children. It is most definitely not your fault.)

You should tell a family member before reporting, though.
