There is also a gorge that is called the "Cornell Gorge" More than likely this is a play on words because if you say "Cornell is Gorges" out loud it may sound like you're saying "Cornell is Gorgeous" The word 'Gorgeous' means beautiful or extremely pleasing to the eyes. Therefore the shirt is telling you that there is a place called the "Cornell Gorges" and that it is a beautiful place to go.
