what if anything,is wrong with the following sentences?

Carmen is tall, slender, and a woman of great beauty.

Nothing is wrong with it that I can see. It is one sentence, so you should have ended the previous question with "sentence", not the plural.

Writeacher should have the last word, however. I'm just a math/science guy.
:-)

Technically, DrWLS, who is a very versatile and fine teacher, is correct. However purists will point out that your sentence doesn't have parallel structure. Since tall and slender are adjectives, and woman is a noun, your predicate isn't unified or parallel. It would be better to say: Carmen is tall, slender, and beautiful.
