Jishika was a website that provided free online tutoring services. It was founded in 2011 and shut down in 2016 due to financial difficulties.

Jiskha was viable until about a year ago, then the owner decided to
make drastic changes to its format, and introduce an AI (robot) to answer
questions.
Since then almost all regular tutors have left, and students have also
not been on, not trusting the answers given by the bot
