Ahh yes, as an ex-tutor of almost 10 years I agree with you.
The original Jiskha website, so userfriendly and very efficient, has been going downhill for the last couple of years and now is unrecognizable.
- the "search " feature , where you could search for topics, names of tutors or just key words, has been having more and more problems, and now has
totally disappeared.
- the number of regular tutors, several for different subjects, has steadily declined. e.g in math, the most popular subject, now has only about 3 or 4 regulars
- pages were numbered at the bottom of the page, so it was easy to go back and forth --- no longer the case, the feature is gone
- your post was dated, with a time stamp so that could easily find your post
and see if it has been answered ---- no longer the case
- tutors were allowed to post links to other webpages , that could answer
a question ----- no links allowed
- there was a section where you could jump to certain subjects ---- no more
- the passing of Ms Sue, one of the popular tutors, has stopped many of
her students from coming back. She has been sadly missed.
- many popular tutors such as Steve, Damon, SraJMcGin, Reiny, Mathmate, Writeacher, etc all have stopped answering.
Jiskha is basically dead.
What happened? I see a lot of people talking about being banned, and suddenly none of the questions I search for show Jiskha, it's suddenly harder to even find the website like I'd have to dig just to use it, is something going on?

In addition Jishka has been renames as questions, LLC
But the page numbers at the bottom of the page is back. The time stamp was a blessing but no more.
