what does it mean readability formulas? I don't understand the concept can someone explain it to me please.
As I understand it, this is how they come up with these readability numbers:
~~By counting the number of paragraphs in a piece of writing.
~~By counting the number of sentences in each paragraph and then averaging them.
~~By counting the number of words in each of the sentences and then averaging them.
~~By counting the number of syllables in the words and then averaging them.
The higher the numbers, the more difficult the written piece is judged to be.
