What does higher dew point mean?

2 answers

The dew point indicates the amount of moisture in the air. The higher the dew point, the higher the moisture content of the air at a given temperature. Conversely, the dew point of humid air will be higher than the dew point of dry air.
Since this is not my area of expertise, I searched Google under the key words "dew point" to get these possible sources:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dew_point
http://www.weatherquestions.com/What_is_dewpoint_temperature.htm

In the future, you can find the information you desire more quickly, if you use appropriate key words to do your own search. Also see http://hanlib.sou.edu/searchtools/.

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
