To get into this field, I’d need a strong background in sports management or journalism, so a degree in one of those areas would be helpful. It’s also important to have good analytical skills, so taking courses in statistics or data analysis could be useful. Gaining experience through internships with sports networks or local teams would give me real-world insights and connections, and writing about basketball on a blog or social media can help build my voice in the industry.
