What are some changes that are occuring in families. Are these changes for the good or bad?

The major change that I see is that people are marrying later than they did in my day.

I don't see it as either bad or good for there are arguments for early and later marriage and parenthood.

Another change is the higher rate of unemployment that has plunged more families into economic crisis.
