what are singing points?

As a music teacher, I've never heard of them. How are they used in the homework?

my homework task was to find out 2 different singing points and i can't find it anywhere!!

That doesn't make any sense. Are you supposed to be analyzing a choral piece? Are there points where there is, say, chanting or speaking and you're being asked to find where the singing begins again? I don't follow the assignment, but I want to help!
