we had this question on a test

the measure of the amount of SPACE occupied by an object is its:
weight
mass
area
volume
I put volume and it was marked wrong. The teacher said it was mass.
I looked it up and still think I am correct, can you tell me which is correct?
Thanks

If the question is what you stated, the only logical explanation would be volume. For basic science, mass is more or less weight. I'm assuming that the question was accidentally marked wrong or the question was copied wrong. I hope this helps.
