so 24+36
= 12(2 + 3)

I understand now what you are saying 12 x 2=12 and then 12x3=36 but I thought I had to do
12x(x+x)would equal 60
12x(x+x)would equal 60
I meant to put 12x2=24
I just figured it out. 3+2=5x12=60
