We are doing this party thing in Socials class. And my party is the NDP party, so we'll be asked questions from the Conservatives and Liberals. I have to advise the leader on stuff. But I don't know what to say. I'm just supposed to whisper stuff into my leader's ear if they get stuck on a question, but I really don't know what to say. If someone asks us why are we raising taxes, exactly what should I say? we are raising taxes because we want to use those taxes toward education for the poor, etc. What other questions may we be asked?

We will raise the education tax credit from $4,800 per year to $5,760 per year to help with increasing education costs.
It should have been to help with decreasing education costs. Otherwise, I don't really see a benefit.

If a person gets a tax credit then he keeps more money.
