Most solids float if their density is less than that of the fluid. Therefore, the 0.67 piece of wood will float and the other one will sink.
Note: the reason I said "most" above, is that ships, which are made of steel, float and we know that the density of iron is much greater than that of water. The reason the ship floats is that it is constructed to displace enough water to make up for the much higher density of steel.
water has a density of 1g/cm3 ; if 2 different pieces of the wood are put into water which will float and which will sink ?
Wood 'a' has a density of 1.19g cm3
Wood "b" has a density of .67 g/cm3
