Washington's Message:
"Hey W.E.B., I believe our best path forward is through vocational training and economic self-reliance; we need to show our value to earn respect and slowly gain equal rights. Racial discrimination is a harsh reality, but I firmly believe patience and hard work will lead us to a better future."

DuBois' Response:
"Hi Booker, while I respect your approach, I can't accept that gradualism will bring true freedom; we must demand our rights outright and fight against this unjust system. The 'Talented Tenth' of our race must lead the charge for immediate equality and civil rights, not just economic progress."
