vertical and contains (-4,6)

how do i find both slope intercept and standard forms of there.. im lost

1 answer

just like any horizontal line has equation y = k, as MathMate pointed out to you in the previous post,

any vertical line has equation x = c
so look at the x value of the given point, namely -4, and your equation is

x = -4

BTW, the slope of any vertical line is undefined
