Van Gogh's painting Starry Night measures 92 cm long by 73 cm high. You buy a poster that shows an enlargement of the painting. The poster measures 120 cm long by 100 cm high. Is the poster an accurate represenation of the painting?

I think the answer is no. Is this right?

How did you come up with that?
I made a proportion 92/73=120/100 and I cross multiplied. I divided the cross products and it came up to a demical.
If you cross-multiplied, you should have done (92)(100) = (73)(12). 920 doesn't equal 8760, so you know the picture is out of proportion. Your answer is correct.
