Use your calculator to find cos−1(0.76) to the nearest degree.

okay but how do I calculate it with the COS button
you cannot use just the COS button.
Read your calculator guide. You want the inverse cosine, which requires another button.
since cos 40.54° = 0.76
pressing 0.76 INV COS should display 40.5358...
