Use the reaction to answer the question

Fe₂O₃ + 3H₂SO₄

How many atoms of oxygen will be found in the product(s) of the reaction?
(1 point)

A. 3
B. 12
C. 4
D. 15

1 answer

I assume your talking "in the balanced equation".
Fe₂O₃ + 3H₂SO₄ ==> Fe2(SO4)3+ 3H2O
15. I see 12 in Fe2(SO4)3 [that's 4 in SO4 and there are three SO4 so 3*4 = 12. Add 3 more in 3H2O to make 15.
