As the two children approached the cave cautiously, one whispered, "I'm not going first. You go first!" The other child shook their head and replied, "No way, you go first!" They both stood at the entrance, prodding each other gently, trying to get the other to enter first. Finally, one of them mustered up the courage and said, "Fine, I'll go first, but you have to come right behind me." With that, they both took a deep breath and stepped into the dark and damp interior of the cave.
