The author uses a third-person limited point of view, focusing on Mina's perspective and thoughts throughout the scene. By introducing a mysterious red box left at Mina's doorstep, the author creates interest and suspense by hinting at a possible unexpected twist or development in the story. The use of descriptive language and the cliffhanger ending also help to keep the reader engaged and curious about what will happen next.
