The Distributive Property is the property that
a(b+c)=a(b)+a(c).
You're basically distributing the "a" between the two parts in parentheses.
For example, 3(1+2).
You would usually evaluate the part in parentheses first, so it would become 3(3)=9.
You could also distribute, 3(1)+3(2)=3+6=9.
So for the first one, 4(x+2)=4(x)+4(2)=4x+8.
Try the other ones on your own. Make sure you understand why it works: it's a very important property!
