Imagine you are leading an online study group for your fellow students. For an upcoming quiz, you all need to demonstrate your understanding of basic accounting vocabulary, terms, and functions. After brainstorming a few ideas, you conclude that you will make a game with the vocabulary words and the definitions to use in the study group.
The vocabulary words you need to define within the game are:

Study Group Game: Accounting Vocabulary Jeopardy

Game Idea:

The game will be based on the classic game show format of Jeopardy. In this version, students will answer questions related to accounting vocabulary. Each term will be categorized, and students will select a term and answer with the correct definition. Points will be awarded for each correct response.

Game Structure:

  • Categories: Each category will have 5 terms, with points increasing based on the difficulty.
  • Game Board: Created using a slide presentation.
  • Questions will be displayed on the slides, and participants will take turns selecting terms from the board.
  • For each term selected, participants must provide the definition or fill in the blank challenge.
