Tyler runs the length of a soccer field (100m). A. How much time is required for him to run the full length at speed v?

B. If he runs at 6.0 m/s how long does it take tyler to run the length of the field?

2 answers

time=distance/velocity
A.

Since D = v t, t = D/v

The answer is therefore

t = (100 m)/[v(m/s)]

for the time required to run 100 m, in seconds

B. 100/6 = 16.67 seconds
