the areas scale as the square of the ratio
the volumes scale as the cube of the ratio

so, volumes scale as the 3/2 power of the area ratio
So thar larger pyramid's volume is

8*(40/25)^(3/2) = 8 * (9/4)^(3/2) = 8 * 27/8 = 27
